Few and unpleasant are the recollections of Holly Johnson about the band’s sixth single, Warriors of the Wasteland:
“During this same meeting [when the title of the second album was decided], I also found out that Paul had sung `Do You Think I'm Sexy' in the studio and Trevor wanted to put it on the B side of `Warriors Of The Wasteland'. I said something like `Over my dead body', and threatened to leave the band then and there if such a tacky song went out with the name Frankie Goes To Hollywood on it. Not only had they recorded it behind my back, but they intended to play it live as a showcase for Paul, perhaps all part of his attempt to replace
me when I left the group. I'd already had a major row with Lipson (in the studio) who had put on some Winston Churchill diatribe on the `threat of Hitler' over the introduction of `Warriors Of The Wasteland'. I despise Churchill. He was someone who only came alive when there was a war, sending many to unnecessary deaths. I also felt dredging up a reference to Adolf Hitler was in extremely bad taste, and, what's more, a veiled dig at Wolfgang [Johnson’s significant other at the time]”. (233)
